Julie and Ian celebrated their Big Day on 15th June 2012 and it certainly was an Amazing event.
Julie had put soo much thought and effort into handmaking every little detail for her day.

Their name cards and table plans were adorned with lace and pearls, and using vintage styled cream lace centrepieces and personalised candle holders each table created a vintage chic appeal.

Julie and Ian chose a lush Mink Taffeta on Linen Chair covers which fitted their colour scheme perfectly, as you can agree the Banqueting room looked Stunning.

The wedding cake was created using a fine lace effect icing on 3 tiers, extra detail was added through iced floral decorations to the top and side

Birdcages and large candleabras adorned alternate tables with beautiful floral displays in soft pinks, pale greens and creams.

We would like to share their personal message to the Kirkley Hall Team about their Wedding Day -

'Can we just say that from start to finish your staff were outstanding and we mean that with all our hearts. We have never been involved in anything of those numbers and been able to say that everyone was happy but this was the first!
Thank you with all our heart
Ian and Julie Burt

On April 28th 2012 Debbie and Andrew celebrated their marriage at Kirkley Hall. Debbie has just sent some fantastic photo's which really sum up their Amazing Day!

The Colour scheme was Hot Pink and Blue, with Martini glasses full of pink feather boa's.
Debbie and Andrew chose cupcakes instead of the traditional wedding cake style.
The dancefloor and backdrop was full of twinkly lights really making their evening reception a night to remember!

Amina and Vito held a truly special day here for their Wedding in May.
Think Bright Bold Colours, Fruit, Floral Pompoms, a Harpist and much much more. Amina had thought about everything with in depth detail and our event dresser excelled with the Kirkley Hall team in creating a breathtaking scene in which they were married.

Luckily for the couple the weather was amazingly hot and sunny for May. This meant that Kirkley could provide an outdoor wedding ceremony taking place on the italian patio terrace.

As you can see from the photo's Amina and Vito chose a citrus colour scheme, using white chair covers with 3 sashes to each, in the centre of the sash were Gerbera flowers.

Large floral displays adorned the centre piece of each table with beautiful strong colours and scents.
Each table was named after a fruit which fitted perfectly with the citrus scheme.
For favours there were minature aftershaves and perfumes for each guest.
Overall the day was truly beautiful in every way. The Bride and Groom enjoyed a lavish 7 course meal followed by African drummers and Chinese lanterns.
Kenn Reay was the photographer for their Big day and as you can see in the following images he captured every essence.

Here's a lovely group shot taken from the Mitford Room Balcony looking down at Amina and Vito's wedding party.

We have just received some fantastic photos from one of our Winter Weddings. Biffy and Brian were Married at Kirkley Hall on 17th December last year.
Have a little peek at some amazing shots by Kenn Reay one of our recommended photographers,
 from their Big Day!

Biffy and Brian sent in a lovely feedback comment - 'The italian patio area was perfect on the day and we were so lucky with the weather. The sun on the pillars was stunning.'

On Saturday 12th May we celebrated the Marriage of Laura and James Coombes.
The inspirations were Purple and Butterflies. We think the couples attention to detail meant that the rooms looked beautiful and elegant, with just the right amount of embellishments. We Loved their Table plan which was clean and simple yet very effective, this was created with a gorgeous Lilac scheme, touching on a hint of butterflies and diamante to add a little sparkle.

Chair covers were used which are fantastic in creating a strong and effective colour scheme.
Crisp White with Cadbury Purple sashes.

On each table Laura and James had opted for a small floral centrepiece which included Purple coloured water and glitter butterflies.

Finally the Cake was, as I think we can all agree, a Stunning Triple Tiered number with a Diamante and Iced Floral trim. The couples initials adorned the top of the cake showing their newly wedded togetherness.

All weddings are so very different in style that there could never be two the same.

At the start of May we saw Nicola and Christopher's wedding take place at Kirkley Hall and the theme was French Romance.

Think famous French Landmarks they had visited instead of table numbers, Ruby red sashes, Floral adorned candleabras, Minatures as wedding favours. The attention to detail was incredible. Nicola and Christopher even went as far as to create individual brooches to be pinned to the back of each chair sash.
 Romance was the key.

One of Nicolas friends made their wedding cake which wore fresh red and white roses in a spiral and created a really personally touch. The bride wore a stunning vintage style lace gown with a short pearl necklace and beautiful net fascinator.
Overall Nicola and Christophers wedding was a truly beautiful day.
